Rooted in tradition, made for today
Tattvanya began with a simple frustration: most hair oils on the shelf were mineral oil with a herb printed on the label. We wanted the opposite — real herbs, slowly infused, in bases you can pronounce.
Every batch starts with whole herbs — amla fruit, bhringraj leaf, black sesame, curry leaf — steeped in cold-pressed carrier oils over low heat for several hours. The oil is then rested, filtered clear and bottled in 30 ml glass so it stays stable without heavy preservatives.
Our Hair Essentials range is built for everyday routines: single-herb, gentle, easy to rinse. The Therapeutic range is more concentrated and made for focused routines, which is why every therapeutic product carries a clear patch-test and usage warning.
We are careful with our language. Ayurveda has a long tradition of hair care, and we describe our oils in terms of that tradition and of how they feel and look — never as medicines or cures.
